Sam Talks: Reconnecting with your body post-cancer

Can’t attend live? Register anyway to receive the complete video recording and resources after the session.

Treatment may be over, but that does not mean you automatically feel at home in your body again. Changes in sensation, desire, body image, and sexual functioning can affect how you feel seen—as a woman, as a sexual person, and within your relationship. Then there is the quiet pressure to get back to who you were before cancer, even when your body and your needs have changed.

Join Sam Expert Kara Catrelle, PhD, LCSW, MSW, Sex & Intimacy Expert and AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist, for a complimentary 30-minute webinar about rebuilding pleasure, ease, and self-trust after breast cancer or serious illness.

Kara will share five practical things women can try as they reconnect with their bodies and sexuality. You will explore ways to make room for grief, approach your body with curiosity instead of expectation, broaden your understanding of intimacy and pleasure, and begin rebuilding trust at a pace that feels right for you.

This session is for women recovering from breast cancer or serious illness who may be medically well but do not yet feel fully at home in their bodies—or who are navigating changes in desire, sensation, body image, sexual functioning, or intimacy.

Come meet Kara, learn manageable ways to begin reconnecting, and leave with a more compassionate understanding of what pleasure and intimacy can look like now.
