Sam Welcomes Sam Saperstein as an Advisor

Sam was built on a simple truth: this work requires a strong bench of smart, powerful women behind it. The world Sam is building has not existed before. It will only be created with the belief, support, and steady leadership of visionaries, world-builders, and kind bad-ass women who understand that this infrastructure must be built, and who are willing to help build it.

That is why the Sam team is honored to announce Sam Saperstein as an Advisor.

Sam will support our next stage of growth, advising on product development, marketing, and content.

Women lead increasingly complex lives and carry tremendous responsibilities,” said Sam Saperstein. “I am so excited to help the team continue to build a platform that connects women with trusted experts who can support them as they manage life changes and challenges. Sam is a powerful community that is there for women when they need it the most.
— Sam Saperstein

Sam Saperstein built a movement in a sector that has too often left women behind: banking. Over a 13-year tenure at JPMorganChase, she served in senior leadership roles, and most proudly as the founding Global Head of Women on the Move, the firm’s platform dedicated to fueling women’s ambition in their career, businesses, and financial health. With the support of CEO Jamie Dimon and an extraordinary team, she launched Women on the Move in 2018 and helped it reach hundreds of thousands of employees, consumers, business owners, clients, partners, and community members, including through the firm’s flagship Women’s Leadership Day.

Today, she continues that work as an investor, business advisor, and speaker and writer on women’s leadership and entrepreneurship, partnering with founders and operators who are building real, durable businesses.

Earlier in her career, Sam held senior roles at MasterCard, served as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, and began as a business reporter at Dow Jones Newswires. She holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from The Wharton School and a B.A. in History from Brown University.

Sam Saperstein understands women’s lives in full: as a mother, wife, daughter, friend, and colleague, carrying the same overlapping responsibilities that shape our reality. Paired with a career spent building real platforms for women’s economic and professional advancement, she is uniquely positioned to advise us as we grow into the central, trusted infrastructure for how women access real support, not just advice. With the right brand, product architecture, and timing, Sam has the opportunity to become one of the defining platforms in this space, and we are excited to build that future with her.

I am humbled and honored that Sam will join us as we work to transform how women access and receive the support they so deserve.
— Abby Nydam, Founder and CEO
