The kitchen phone

Remember her?

Yellow/green/pink/white, the tangled, very, very long cord, the cradle-on-the-shoulder-doing-5 things-at once, "its bad if it rings in the middle of the night", or "I'll take this in the bedroom. Okay, HANG UP NOW" (uh oh), with the stool next to it -- that phone.

Plans were made and broken. New friendships, old conversations, the new neighbors, frustration, "they had the baby!". Joy.

You could not stop a woman on the "kitchen phone" -- talking to another woman.

We watched our mothers in awe on these phones as the social fabric of our lives unfolded from those polymer parts and the women behind them.

So yes, it’s an inspiration to us, and it’s power to be able to access the support we deserve, in whatever form it takes.

Drop us a line, tell us what's going on, and we will send you a personal Support Plan with Sam Support Sessions and Experts to book.

Think of it as your own, personal recipe with love from Sam.
