Creating a Simple Routine for YOU

Are you her? The eldest daughter caring for a parent, the wife caring for an ill spouse, or the mother raising a child while managing mountains of paperwork. You are the one who is just checking in, organizing visits, and staying forever on hold. You are trying to square living a life while advocating in hospital rooms and getting through to stubborn, unavailable siblings.

You are the one holding the social worker’s card, tightly, silently hoping that it will bring some relief. You are making impossible, unfair decisions daily about someone you love without measure, feel frustrated with, and can’t stand all at the same time. You are the dutiful, the diligent—the one who thinks “I couldn’t possibly” to a trip away or being out of cell range. More often than not, you are the one who puts herself last.

Join Sam Expert Melissa Plourde (LSW, CGCM, CDP, CPC) for an intimate, 60-minute session designed for the woman who handles everything for everyone else. Limited to 10 women, this is a space to stop being the one in charge for an hour and focus entirely on your own path.

Highlights

  • The Five Archetypes: Identify which caregiving persona you are living in right now and how it is impacting your energy.

  • Techniques for Burnout: Discuss what you might be feeling and learn simple reliefs that make a noticeable difference.

  • Your Weekly Care Plan: Create a realistic, personalized strategy for your own well-being that fits into the life you are already leading.

  • The Outcome: You will leave feeling better, having met women who truly understand the weight you carry, and with a practical care plan for YOU.

  • Meet Your Expert:  Melissa Plourde is a licensed social worker and certified geriatric care manager with over 30 years of experience helping families navigate the complexities of aging, dementia, and end-of-life journeys. As a Sam Expert, she combines her clinical background in behavioral health with a deep, personal understanding of the caregiving path.

Having raised a child with challenges as a single mother and supported many loved ones through life's transitions, Melissa knows firsthand that self-care is not optional—it is essential. She serves as a warm, trusted partner to help you find balance and purpose, ensuring you leave empowered to care for yourself as deeply as you care for others.
